Please feel free to contact the admins, or mods for help. Most of the time the mods know what is going on, so if you want a direct response, contact admins. But sometimes the admins won't always be able to reach you right away.
This is strictly a wild horse role play. No mystical creatures, or anythings like that. No humans either. But our role play is expanded, and does have some none-realistic plauges to it, such as, communication, and activities.
Please keep in mind, that Desire is a more advanced role play, then a beginning one, so we need you guys to view the vocabulary, and expand your posts.
One thing that is needed on Desire, is activity, if you arn't going to make time on here, have an admin delete your account. We can't have our players trying to guess if your getting on in a week or two.
Try and be active as much as you can.
Those that are still beginners but want to get better, can play on Desire for a week with acceptible short posts. Now, if they do not improve after that, then they will be asked to leave, or recieve help.
You may ask members questions, and admins on the C-Box if wished, but please do not ask about the creation password! If you do so, you will be banned for 1 day!
You can have up to (2) Stallions, and (3) Mares of any alliance.
If you have 2 stallions, you may have one land in light, and one land in dark. But you are not to have 2 dark lands, or 2 light lands!
When posting as away or quitting, make sure and list all of your characters.
If you do not contact an admin, or post that you are leaving for a certin amount of time, after 1 week of no posting, your characters will start being deleted.
Time in Desire goes by in months. 1 month=Season so in 4 months=Year.
We try and keep the cussing, and violated language down to the minimum, it doesn't have to completely go away, but it needs to barly show up, for the comfort of all members.
ANY type of Role Playing is allowed. 1st person or 3rd person. There are no set "RP standards". Do it how you want.
No pornographic pictures or links to sites containing pornography of any kind.
If you steal a picture from Example: Horseland, and we talk to the player, and if they said they didn't give you permission to use the picture, you will be banned for at least 2 weeks, and if you come back, do it again, or go against us by taking one of our pictures, we will ban you forever, as well as deleting our picture, so we can't even use it.
If you break the rules, you will be given a warning. By your third warning you will be exiled for a week. If you are eligible to be exiled again you will instead be banned for a week.
You must respect all player's, and mod's ect. Even if they are not respecting you, don't worry, they will be responsible.
Always try to be kind and considerate
.JOINING.
Make sure you use the example in the Joining board. All that information needs to be filled out, and your character needs to have a picture that matches most of it's description. I know how tough it could be to find a picture you exactly want, so markings and stuff don't have to show.
If you can't find a picture, or for some reason are incapable of finding one, maybe computer mess up or something, contact a mod, and they WILL help you find one.
Stallions, you cannot claim land until you have at least one mare to call your own. Stallions may reside in unclaimed land, or in stallion lands, If you do not have a territory. You cannot claim land until you have found your first mare, so if you reside in an unclaimed territory, and another brute comes along and wants it, he can push you out.
Some names may be reserved. reserved names, go to the board "Reserved" and you will see pictures, and names that you cannot use.
You cannot start posting on the main boards until you have read the rules, joined, and been accepted.
You need to write at least 5 sentences under personality when you join, more will just start going in points, and you can possibly be prized.
This is an intermediate-advanced rpg. Even though all people are allowed to play you must have at least 15 sentences in your posts. If we find any posts that don't have fifteen(15) sentences then those posts will be deleted, no questions asked.
You need to fill out the supplied joining form on the Become board to be accepted. Make sure you include enough information so that the admins can accept you. If not, then you will have to go back and fix your post.
After you are accepted, you can start posting, do not start posting unless an admin, mod, or global mod has accepted you.
If you do start to post without being accepted, your posts will be deleted.
On your profile in the signature section you must have, Name; Age; Gender; Allaiance

.CLAIMING.
To claim a land, you must post a thread that explains how you claimed it. You can explain your journey if you want to make your post longer as well.
2 of your 3 stallions can own terra's, but not 1 stallion can own 2 terra's.
All alignments can claim mares in certin boards. Example: A light stallion can claim a dark mare, and a dark stallion can claim a light mare. If the mare is unclaimed, she can be claimed anywhere forcfully, accept if she is in claiming grounds, but if she is claimed, then you can attempt a steal.
Lights can only claim Light lands, the same goes for Darks, and Neutrals
Only Lead Stallions and Beta Stallions of a terra may claim mares. Occasionally, a lead mare may run into a lone mare, and if necessary, she can invite her to join, but if the lead stallion is not satisfied, he can just push her back on her way.
Please to not advertise claim, this rule is enforced on many sites. Example: "All stallions, come and get me!" or "Stallion open for grabs" or possibly "HEY!!!! Come and get it!!!!"
Force Claiming is allowed. Stallions can claim mares in the nice way where they ask. Or, they may claim in a more harsher way. Mostly, Lights do the nice way and some Darks do as well. But force claiming is allowed. Nothing too harsh. If a stallion does wish to force claim a mare, he must first introduce himself and the mare herself as well.
There is no maximmum stallions attempting to claim a mare. No more than that. If a mare has three stallions trying to claim her, other stallions must wait till one of them leaves or try for a different mare. If you strongly wish to have that mare thoughd to fight for her.
If a mare is force claimed, she belongs to the Stallion that forced her, And must go to that stallions' lands and live there. ----Mares, don't be mad if you went with a stallion that you didn't want to. Being chosen is a great compliment. Meaning that more then one wish to have you. Still, you do have a chance to be fought for or snuck back.
If a mare wants to be claimed fast, or wants to foal and have a herd, she can go to the breeding lands to be claimed. Though, do be careful mares, for any stallion can force breed you there. And this type of claiming can only happen during breeding season. See the Breeding rules for more information.
.CHALLENGING
Stallions can challenge for Terras, Mares, Foals or for fun.
Only challenges for Terras, Mare and Foals have to be responded to. For fun challenges are not required.
Mares cannot own lands, but if a stallion dies, or leaves them, the lead mare tries to stand strong till another stallion comes along, but she cannot fight his claiming... even if she doesn't like him.
Mares may also fight other mares in their herd for a higher position. Usually in the wild, the lead stallion doesn't bother to interferre with radged mares, so he will be silent during this time.
When challenging, the horse that challenges needs to notify whomever they are fighting. This can be done by PMing that character.
Stallions can fight for nearly everything, terra, mares, and possibly foals that when age of 3, could do great production, work, or a better to hand down postitions to.
When challenging for land, the challenger will not challenge for the mares in the land as well, only the land.
Before challenging someone, make sure that player is not absent. If they are absent, then you cannot challenge them.
If you do have a fight, you must post it in the proper board, otherwise your fight will be deleted, and you will have to wait 3 days before you are allowed to start another fight.
If the Stallion that was challenged does not answer the post in 3 days, then their challenge is forfiet and the challenger wins whatever they were fighting for.
If the challenged player posts, each post has a maximum waiting time of 3 days each to be replied to. If any post is not replied to, then that battle will be forfiet.
Keep in mind, that any horse in a challenge cannot challenge the same horse again for a week, in real life.
For any battle that is won, the winner gets whatever they where fighting for, with no back-talk, and will earn points for whatever decided.
If a battle cannot seem to be won, then Desire or another admin will decide the outcome. Usually the winner is chosen by who has the best fighting style and as well their RPing. If no choice can be chosen still, then a die will be rolled. 2 out of 3 wins. Please, don't complain if you dont get your way.
.SNEAKING/STEALING.
Those that want to steal, or sneak, can really do it anywhere, but if in owned lands, and a stallion finds you, you may be forced to fight him, or he can give harsh punishment.
Stallions can try and sneak for mares, foals and terras.
Mares can attempt to sneak for foals.
Can only sneak for one thing at a time.
The sneaking post must be replied to in within fourty-eight(48) hours(2 days) or the challenger wins whom/what they were sneaking.
The stallion that was stolen from can attempt to battle the sneaker after one week after the steal is lost.
When posting, put the subject as the name of the stallion.
If the stallion you are sneaking from challenges a fight, you must accept, but in the battle, afost, you are allowed to back down.
For any sneak that is won, the winner recieves his prize from the other, and a reward will be decided by admins, or mods.
You can only attempt to sneak twice(2) a week.
.BREEDING.
Long breeding is allowed. Long Breeding and force breeding are allowed.
If There is going to be long breeding, make sure, in the thread subject you put *** next to the main subject so that people who don't want to read that, know it is long breeding.
Force Breeding is allowed.
Once a mare is forcebred, she belongs to the stallion that bred with her.
Only unclaimed mares may go the the breeding lands to be claimed. Mares that already have stallions, may not be forcebred by other stallions, and cannot be claimed.
Any stallion that wishes to forcebreed a mare, you cannot do so in only one post. There must be a entering post, and a finishing post. Meaning, stallions cannot mount and be done in one post. This is a strictly enforced rule.
Obviously, only breeding between a stallion and a mare are allowed.
Any breeding with horses younger then 3 years old, is not allowed.
Stallions and Mares may breed for a foal, even if forced. But do you really think they did it for pleasure? No.
After being bred, it takes 1 week to have your foal in real time, but if an admin messages you for longer, or shorter term, please do as they ask. Sorry mods, but this rule can only occur if their is something the admins are planning.
Make sure that in regualr breeding grounds, you put ratings. Here are the ratings for the threads:
*X= Very Graphic
*R= Majority is graphic
*PG-13= Somewhat Graphic
*L= Long Breeding
All other breeding, like short, and none graphic, you don't have to put any sign in the thread.

.STALLIONS.
Can only have (2) terra.
Stallions can kick anyone out of his herd, anytime, anyday, anyplace. No exceptions unless the Admin say so.
Lead and Beta stallions may claim mares.
Can challenge and sneak.
Do not hog mares, I don't want to see your mark or attempt of mark on nearly every mare that joins.
When a Lead Stallion leaves his terra, then the Lead mare takes over. If there is no lead mare, then any Beta horses will take over the terra. When all Leads are gone from terra, the mares may stay or go. Those that stay will belong to the Beta's who will become leads. In the situation where there are no Leads or Betas, then the mares must find a new home.
Stallions may claim lands.
Stallions cannot kill a horse without its consent over the age of 1 year. If a horse is under that age, the lead stallion may wish to kill it or not.
May fight for mares, terras, or foals or fun.
Can challenge for a herd under the challenge board
The first part of the password to join is: driven (REMEBER! this is just the first word to the password!)
May breed at age of 5 years old.
Can choose to keep colts in herd, or drive them out when they reach age 5. May drive out any other horses if they wish as well.
Is solely responsible for the taking care of his own herd.
Stallions must be the age of 5 - 14 in order to own a terra.
.Mares.
Cannot advertise for their stallions or for themselves. Meaning, don't post with the subject being something like "Oh look at me" or "Free Mare to First Stallion" and other such things are not allowed.
Usually only breed once a season. In the event that the mare lost the foal during pregnancy or similar, then there is a slight chance she could be bred again.
Mares are not allowed to leave their stallion's lands unless they are snuck, battled for, or given permission by the Lead Stallion to leave.
Cannot have more than one herd
Cannot have more then one lead stallion
Mares can sneak only for foals.
May fight for terras, and foals, but only against other mares.
Mares can also challenge other mares in their herd for hight ranks and positions.
Can breed at the age of 3 years
Can drive there young out of the herd whenever they wish, especially if their foals are sick, or, they don't want to take care of them. Warning, most foals will die in the wild, if they do not have a mother to take care of them.
Must be the age of 4- 14 in order to be lead mare (yes stallions must be age of 5 in order to start being a lead)
.Foals.
Cannot claim terras until they are (5) years old, but I must warn you, brutes that are the age of 7-14, will easily take this land from you, even with a battle... but sometimes, you may be able to show the brute that you were born capable..
Colts Cannot breed until they are adults, at 3 Years old and until they are out of thier birth cadre.
Foals can die from hunger if they have been abandoned by their mother.
Can live in only one terra.
Sometimes, foals will be driven out of the herd under the age of 3 years, in that case, they are 1 year or younger, they must quickly find a mother or some other caretaker, or they will most likely perish.
.Herds.
Must be active when owning a terra.
If lead members are not active that terra could be given away to the Beta members or even to another horse who is looking for a terra. So, be ACTIVE. can only have two Leads and two Beta's.
If a lead stallion or mare is going to be away, then, the Beta's are the leads in thier place until they come back.
The second word to the password is: desire (so the total password is drivendesire)
Beta's job is to watch over the herd and protect it. Though, if a Beta is caught trying to breed with the mares, they could be killed or run out of the herd
